Westland Area Independence Day Parade
July 4

The Westland Area Business Association will sponsor their annual Independence Day Parade at 9:30 a.m. Saturday (7/4). The parade will form at Westland High School at 8:15 a.m. There will be rolling closures along the route as the parade progresses from Westwoods Boulevard to Broad Street, and then east on Broad Street to Lincoln Village Plaza. Northland Community Council Independence Day Parad
Northland Area --- July 4

The Northland Community Council will hold their annual Independence Day Parade at 11 a.m. on Saturday (7/4). The parade will begin on the northeast corner of Morse and Karl roads. There will be rolling closures as the parade moves north on Karl Road to Dublin-Granville Road. The parade is expected to be completed by 12:30 p.m. (City of Columbus)

Doo Dah Parade
Short North --- July 4

The Doo Dah Parade will take place Saturday (7/4) at 1 p.m. Park Street will be closed between Buttles Avenue and Goodale Street from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. for formation. There will be rolling closures along the following route as the parade progresses:

• Start at Buttles Avenue and Park Street
• West on Buttles Avenue to Neil Avenue
• North on Neil Avenue to Second Avenue
• East on Second Avenue to High Street
• South on High Street to Russell Street
• West on Russell Street to Park Street to the finish.

Buttles Avenue will remain closed between High Street and Dennison Avenue until midnight for the block party. Motorists should use caution due to increased pedestrian traffic in the area. (City of Columbus)

Red, White and Boom
Downtown Columbus --- July 3

Wednesday (7/1) from 9 a.m. through Saturday (7/4) at 6 a.m.

• 2 curbs lanes of Marconi Boulevard between Gay and Broad streets
• North curb lane of Nationwide Boulevard between Neil Avenue and Ludlow Street
• South curb lane of Nationwide Boulevard between Neil Avenue and Ludlow Street
• Washington Boulevard between Broad and Town streets

Thursday (7/2) from 9 a.m. through Saturday (7/4) at 6 a.m.
• Long Street between Hocking Street and Marconi Boulevard

Friday (7/3) from 9 a.m. through Saturday (7/4) at 6 a.m.

• Nationwide Boulevard completely closed between Neil Avenue and Ludlow Street
• Marconi Boulevard between Nationwide Boulevard and Locust Street
• Marconi Boulevard between Long and Broad streets

Friday (7/3) from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. (for parade formation)

• Starling Street between Broad and Town streets
• Rush Alley between Starling and Belle streets
• State Street between Lucas and Belle streets

Friday (7/3) from 5:50 p.m. until approx. 7:30 p.m. (for parade movement only)

• Broad Street between McDowell and Wall streets
• Front Street between Mound and Vine streets
• Lynn Street between Front and High streets
• Gay Street between Front and High streets
• Long Street between Marconi Boulevard and High Street
• Spring Street between Marconi Boulevard and High Street
• Lafayette Street between Front and High streets
• Nationwide Boulevard between Ludlow and High streets
• Spring Street between High Street and Neil Avenue
• Ludlow Street between Spring and Long streets
• Hickory Street between Front Street and Marconi Boulevard
• State Street between High and Front streets
• Town Street between High Street and Civic Center Drive
• Rich Street between High Street and Civic Center Drive

Friday (7/3) 6 p.m. through midnight (for fireworks)

• All streets south of Spring Street, north of Mound Street, east of McDowell Street, and west of Third Street.

Handicapped parking is available at the following locations:

• Rich Street between Ludlow and High streets
• North side of Gay Street between Ludlow and Front streets
• Gay Street between High and Front streets

Keep on Bikin’

Pedal Instead! Leave your car at home when you come to a downtown festival! The City of Columbus hosts a FREE bike corral at selected events!

A bike corral is available at OSU Home Football Games. The corral is located along the Olentangy Trail, just south of Woody Hayes Drive. There is no charge for this service. The University Area Enrichment Association and COBAC will be providing volunteers.
